Because the search engines consider a user’s search request, it compares the keywords with the pages indexed or stored in the database. There are millions and possibly billions of pages with identical key phrases, therefore, the search engine measures how relevant the pages are. This is a complex process but basically, the search engine obtains a list of existing documents that have a group of keywords.
